A meal and a welcome
Every Saturday at noon, our neighbors are invited to Westminster’s West Center for a free hot lunch. Sharing a table creates a welcoming place for conversation and fellowship.

WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Every Saturday · Rome, Georgia
A free hot lunch, fellowship, and hospitality for every neighbor who walks through our doors — since January 2023.
Our Mission
At Westminster Presbyterian Church, we believe that sharing a meal is about far more than food — it is about dignity, community, hospitality, and the love of Christ lived out together. Since January 2023, Bus Fare has opened its doors every Saturday morning as a collaborative outreach ministry serving our neighbors experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, hardship, and isolation throughout the Rome and Floyd County community.
"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

In Action
Join Us
What began as a simple collaboration has grown into a beautiful example of churches, nonprofits, volunteers, and community members working together to care for one another. For many who walk through our doors, Bus Fare is more than a meal — it is a place where they are known by name, welcomed with kindness, and reminded that they are not forgotten.

Care in action
A shared meal, practical support, and neighbors working together—this is how Bus Fare puts care into action each Saturday.

Every Saturday at noon, our neighbors are invited to Westminster’s West Center for a free hot lunch. Sharing a table creates a welcoming place for conversation and fellowship.

Alongside the Saturday meal, showers offer practical support. Bus Fare brings food, care, and hospitality together in one community setting.

Church members, volunteers, and community partners work together to prepare meals and welcome guests. Their collaboration makes the Saturday gathering possible.
